Our holiday home

Even though the whole family already feels more like Swedes, we haven't forgotten our roots. Austria has a certain charm, after all. Therefore, we've tried to incorporate the well-known "Austrian coziness" into the buildings.

We offer holiday guests who want to experience the nature and beauty of Sweden, away from schedules, constant noise, and obligations, a small, cozy cottage for 2-4 people with its own small garden.

As is typical in other Swedish cottages, our guests cater for themselves. However, we offer a little something special. We've not only built the cottage, but also a small Austrian café next door, where our guests are invited to purchase our own eggs from happy, free-range chickens, typical Austrian baked goods, bacon from the Vulcano ham factory, and cheese from Almenland Stollenkäse, all from Styria. They can also enjoy fika (cakes, tarts, and coffee) directly in the café.

The holiday home has its own small barbecue area and a traditional hot tub (Badtunna) with a sauna (Bastu) in typical Swedish style.

Our idyllic little spot offers several lakes for fishing, boating, or kayaking, as well as easy access to the coast by car. Our area also boasts several nature reserves that are ideal for hiking. Most public spaces also have barbecue areas where you can grill your own food in peace.

The Berkinge Natural Pool is 4 km away. It's a great place to sunbathe, swim, and relax. There are also several slides for children.

Particularly beautiful and impressive places include Hållnäs, Örnstenen and many more, which we are happy to recommend locally.

About a 30-minute drive from us is Furuvik Park. This is the nearest amusement park, featuring an integrated zoo and water park.

Surrounded by nature and animals, nothing stands in the way of relaxation!
