About Us

A family experiences the origin

Our family emigrated from Austria to Sweden in the fall of 2022. We are Martin, born and raised in Nußdorf am Haunsberg in Salzburg, Bianca, born and raised in Salzburg, and our three children Patrick, Max, and Leon.

We emigrated because, even though we were born there, we didn't really have any roots in Austria. Our eldest son, Patrick, in particular, didn't seem to be able to truly identify with Austria.

When Patrick one day expressed his urgent desire to finally leave Austria, it was the signal for us to finally find a home for the entire family. The path led us directly to Sweden, where we slowly made our way up from southern Sweden to find a suitable home. Of course, our children were always by our side, knowing they would show us where our home would be.

After unsuccessful viewings, we arrived at Östensbo, Österbybruk. We observed the children, who from the very first second acted as if we had always lived here. This was the sign we had been waiting for. We knew this was the place to realize our dreams and finally put down roots.

We now know that we will stay here, that our children will start their families here, that we have arrived.
